What Happens If It Rains On Your Wedding Day?

Any couple having an outdoor wedding should confirm a weather backup plan in their wedding company/planners’ contract—whether it's an indoor room, a covered outdoor area. That way, if the forecast spontaneously calls for rain on your wedding day, you'll have something to fall back on—and no reason to panic.

BB will contact you the day of the wedding to discuss plan B.

If you are having a Ceremony only, we will move the wedding to a covered area/ inside room depending on the schedule for that day.  Regardless of you will not have to stress we have you covered.  Your decorations will not change every detail will be set in the new location.

Dinner or Reception, we will transform the indoor space for both the ceremony and reception.

We know you will be anxiously watching the weather for weeks, try to avoid doing this, it will only add additional stress to your week and wedding day.  The weather in Ocean City can move out so quick as well as it is known to move in quick.  We will be watching the forecast for the week and only making decisions the day of your wedding. 

Think of the Positives

We get it, nobody likes the feeling of their parade being rained on, and you're more than entitled to stomp your feet. But while you're at it, don't forget to think of the positive. You are Marring the Love of your Life and Starting a New Beginning Together.  You cannot control the weather only your reaction to it.

Get ready to roll with the punches and welcome the weather—remember, rain on your wedding day is actually good luck! The last thing you want is for loved ones to stand wet and shivering while you say your "I do’s. When possible we may have the opportunity to get a few beach shots or outside gazebo shoots with the photographer with your spouse for a romantic kiss under a shared umbrella.
